Frequently asked questions

How do I book a table?

You can book a table on our website via the Book a Table tab at the top of the page.

We don't accept bookings on the day. If you coming between Monday and Thursday we accept walk ins on the day. If you are coming on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday you'll need to book at least 8 hours in advance of the session time beginning.

What are the session times for your restaurant?

We are currently running 2 sessions on a Saturday and Sunday:

11am – 2pm

2.30pm – 6pm

If you have booked for the first session you will need to leave at 2pm so we can sanitise and prepare for the second session. You can book both sessions if you would like however you will still need to leave the premises from 2pm – 2.30pm

From Monday to Friday you can book at anytime, from Saturday the 19th of December we will run the 2 sessions every day up until and including the Australia Day Long Weekend. 

When does your venue open? 

Murray's Brewery is open from 10am - 6pm daily. We are open 364 days of the year. We are closed on Christmas Day.  

When does your kitchen open?

From Monday to Friday our kitchen serves the full menu from 11am – 3pm and pizza and fries from 3pm – 4pm

Saturday and Sunday our kitchen serves the full menu from 11am – 4pm and pizza and fries from 4pm – 5pm

Do you have live music?

Yes we have live music on a Saturday and Sunday. To ensure they entertain you over both sessions our musician will play from 12.30pm - 2pm and 2.30pm - 4pm.  

What seating is available at your venue?

We have 2 undercover spaces, our distillery room (current capacity of 36 people) and our pavilion (current capacity of 54 people). The outside deck has a capacity of 130 people and the tables on the grass can accommodate 80 people. 

Can I bring my own chairs and rug and sit on the grass?

Under covid restrictions we have been advised that you cannot bring your own chairs or picnic rug, you must be sitting at tables on the grass. 

Can kids run around on the grass?

Yes kids can run around in their own groups on the grass after they have consumed their food and beverages whilst seated

How do I change or cancel my booking?

Once you have made your booking you will receive a confirmation via email. If you have entered your credit card details for bookings of 8 or more you will need to call us on 0481 249 438 to make any further changes. If your booking is still unconfirmed you will be able change or cancel your booking via the email confirmation sent to you

How do I confirm my booking?

You will be sent an SMS 48 hours prior to your booking with a link to confirm your booking  

How many people can I book for?

Under current NSW government guidelines, you are allowed to book for up to 30 people per booking and up to 30 people can sit at the same table. Children and babies count towards the capacity limit

What happens if I have more than 30 people?

Please call us on 0481 249 438 and talk to our functions co-ordinator regarding your requirements

What are the current covid 19 restrictions when I visit your venue?

Dine-in customers must sign in using our QR code provide their name, phone number and email address on entry for possible contact tracing purposes later

You must remain seated at your tables whilst consuming food and beverages. You are not allowed to mingle with other tables. Please ensure you keep 1.5 metres distance to other patrons

What happens if I have booked outside and it rains on the day?

Because we are under such tight restrictions with numbers undercover the likelihood is that we won’t be able to move your table undercover on the day. To guarantee undercover seating please book this on our website

Are you pet friendly?

You are welcome to bring a well-behaved dog on a lead. Dogs are welcome on the grassed area only

Why do you ask for a credit card upon booking?

We ask you to provide a credit card authorisation for groups of 8 or more people which is $10 per person. We do this because we are limited to a total capacity of 300 people and if you have made a booking for 30 people and do not show up this is not fair to others customers who want to book. This does not mean your card will be charged when you enter your details. Your card will only be charged if you do not show up on the day.

How do I book the bus?

You can book the bus on our website via the Book The Bus tab at the top of the page

Can I be picked up at another location that’s not listed for the bus?

Unfortunately, this is not currently possible, pick up and drop off points cannot be altered.  

Can we book in a tasting?

If you are coming just for a tasting you will need to book to be included in our overall capacity. Wine and spirit tastings can be done in small groups of 3-4 people which must be conducted whilst seated. During the week it's not a problem to just walk in and take a seat at the cellar door. On weekends you'll need to book a table and have a meal and you are welcome to do a tasting whilst there.    

Are your brewery tours running at the moment? 

Unfortunately brewery tours are not running at the moment due to social distancing rules and staff availability.  We will let you know once they resume.
