We reckon that if the world drank craft beer and rode bikes, we'd all live in a better place....
Craft Beer is a clean and natural product. It is represented by a myriad of varieties and appeals to a growing spectrum of the community. Cycling is fuelled by clean energy and comprises as much diversity as craft beer - from the fixie riders of the inner city, to Sunday morning roadies, mud loving mountain bikers and work commuters.
All of those involved ride their machines for similar reasons - the sense of freedom, environmental considerations, transport and above all, enjoyment.
Here at Murray's, we are passionate about cycling. The synergies between our product and cycling are something we hold very close to our hearts.
We've done some small things – such as sponsoring jerseys of the Sydney Cycling Club and Sydney to Wollongong rides.
And some bigger things. All proceeds from our special beer release, The Natural, brewed to celebrate Cadel Evans 2011 Tour de France victory, were donated to the Amy Gillett Foundation – which is focused on road safety for cyclists .
Our NSW Beer Guy and company cycling nut, Adrian, participated in the Share the Road cycling tour of Tasmania – which he reckons was one of the highlight experiences of his life.
We are actively working to the links between the two worlds of craft beer and cycling.
Look out for events, awareness initiatives and even Murray's cycling apparel coming soon!
