Spontaneous Fermented Sour Pale Ale 3.5%
Launched on Valentine's Day as among the first in our "Short Supply" series of special craft beers, Pucker Up is a sour pale ale that has been spontaneously fermented with the airborne microflora surrounding our Brewery at Bobs Farm.
In particular Lactobacillus has played a big part in souring the beer prior to normal fermentation with an Ale yeast.
The resultant beer is very tart, yet sweet in the finish, and has the aroma and flavour of intense grapefruit with a hint of passionfruit.
Ideal with perfectly roasted pork belly. And we're even using Pucker Up as the core ingredient in a beer cocktail!
