Hefeweizen is a south German style of wheat beer (weissbier) made with a typical ratio of 50:50 of malted wheat and malted barley. The "Hefe" prefix means "with yeast", hence the beer’s unfiltered and cloudy appearance.
Murray’s Hefeweizen has an aroma and flavour of banana and cloves, with some spiciness produced by the yeast. The finish is slightly tart with a low level of bitterness and a smooth malty balance.
Enjoy with or without a slice of orange in the glass.
