It’s our eleventh birthday and the eleventh release of our Anniversary Ale series. And it’s a bit of a departure from the ones brewed in the past.
This year we’ve produced an Anglo/Belgian-inspired Imperial Chocolate Porter that notes back to its English heritage. Half was aged in Tasmanian whisky barrels for three months, then blended back with the rest of the brew before bottling.
Lots of Belgian esters with subtle oak character in aroma. Deep rich chocolate roast malt flavours with some oak in the finish.
Pours black with ruby highlights.
Cellar for up to 10 years – the flavours and complexity will just keep getting better with age. Or drink now if you can’t wait!
